The menu has been decided for our next endeavours into Hidden Dining.

SHACKLEWELL NIGHTS and Ben Rymer presents
“Bread & Butter” on Friday 25th & Saturday 26th March, 2011.

  • Aperitif
  • Smoked Trout, Pickled Beetroot & Horseradish
    –or– Perroche, Pickled Beetroot & Watercress (v)
  • Snails, Bacon, Borlotti Beans & Wild Garlic
    –or– Wild mushrooms, Leeks & Borlotti Beans (v)
  • Orange & Cardamom Cream, Yorkshire Rhubarb & Hazelnuts
  • Neal’s Yard Cheese Plate, Oat Cakes & Hackney Chutney
  • Auchentoshan
  • Please note Menu may change due to availability of ingredients

New Dates For March

After an absence of a few months we are finally back with some new dates and a new venue.

Shacklewell Nights, in partnership with Ben Rymer, would like to announce new dates for their ventures in Hidden Dining .

‘BREAD & BUTTER’

Friday 25th & Saturday 26th March 2011

Two evenings of exceptional British Seasonal Food in unusual, informal and relaxed surroundings in a secret Hackney location.

Hidden Dining on a cold November weekend

We held our third weekend of Hidden Dining at Shacklewell Nights on Friday 19th November and Saturday 20th November 2010.

The Menu

Smoked Eel & Celeriac or a vegetarian option of Egg, Cress & Celeriac

Braised Ox Cheek  & Swede or  a vegetarian option of Braised Root Vegetables & Pearl Barley

Chocolate Terrine

Neal Yards Cheese Plate with Hackney Chutney

We would like to thank all our patrons that braved the cold that weekend and came and joined us.
