Field Food and other adventures in Somerset

At the begining of September, we spent the best part of a week  in a field very close to some place called Pilton in Somerset. We caught the last of the summer sun and cooked a four course meal for 250 people in a tent for some very special newlyweds.

We had an wonderful week and an event that we will never forget

We would like to thank the following people with most heartfelt thanks for letting us do our thing in a field in Somerset ……

Charlie Hicks Vegetables, Wendy  at Peters Yard, Paddy at Neals Yard Dairy, Richard Bertinet Bakery, Julian Temperley at Somerset Cider Brandy, Jess at Trethowans Dairy, Elly at Pear Cafe Catering for preparing  the childrens picnic bags for us, Matt the RAC towtruck driver, who towed us all the way back to London from Somerset, Giles and his staff at Soulshakers Ltd for making sure we had a drink or two after service, Ben Bloodworth for been our South West ‘fixer’ and font of local produce knowledge and of course Penny at Tiger Lily Weddings.

But most of all we would like to say a massive thank you to Mr and Mrs J Clark for  letting us be a part of their most amazing day.
